    1、在输电线路中,利用高压电容器可以组成串补站,提高输电线路的输送能力;
    2、在大型变电站中,利用高压电容器可以组成SVC,提高电能质量;
    3、在配电线路末端,利用高压电容器可以提高线路末端的功率因数,**线路末端的电压质量;
    4、在变电站的中、低压各段母线,均会装有高压电容器,以补偿负荷消耗的无功,提高母线侧的功率因数;
    5、在有非线性负荷的负荷终端站,也会装设高压电容器,作为滤波之用。
